one of the twins was crying a while after i put him to bed. so i went upstairs to check it out and he was standing there looking all pitiful. holding his pjs in one hand and his diaper in the other. good times. goooooood times.

conversation

the following conversation took place whilst i and a co-worker looked out our office window at two painters looking at the lawn.

me: what are they doing over there?
co-worker: maybe they are going to paint the grass
me: oh great! now i'll be able to watch the grass grow and the paint dry at the same time.

yep. i live on the edge.

le tour

really missing watching the tour on tv. alas one of the times i really miss not having cable. but truth be told i do not really miss most of what is on tv anyway. it actually gives me more time to work on web development, read or hey even talk to my wife.

but man i miss the tour.

an egg delivery truck just drove past my window at about 10mph. it must be a really boring job driving that slow all the time. just sayin'.

ps - i know it is not all that funny but i thought it was funny seeing an egg truck drive slowly like that. anyway go about your business, nothing to see here.

back across the pond

my brother and his family came home to visit for the month of july.

it is nice to see all of them again. i haven't seen my niece and nephew for two years, my they have grown.

the house was crazy with all the kids running around. reminds me of when i was young and my cousins visited.

looking forward to a great month.

when wife is pregnant

and she asks for ice cream and you don't have any. you go out and get some of course. trust me, this is baby #6, when she asks you to go, go. life will be much better.

been a while and never knew

well it has been some time since i posted here. going to fix that. onward and upward.

this morning whilst i was getting ready for my day job, i went to open my closet and i noticed a pile of lincoln logs in front of my closet door. the twins you see love throwing stuff out of their room and then complaning about it, they are 20 months old after all. apparantly last night they fell asleep before they could finish the job. so i had to put away a pile of lincoln logs with out waking the whole house up. yeap. i woke the twins up which set off the chain reaction.

new web site

it is mostly done. just need to upload it and set up the blog capability. should be done in a few days. i know i know but i will get to it i promise.

my new website

i am still developing my new website. the front page is done as well as the mockups for all the other pages, except the blog.
so in short order i should have a live site. i look forward to this new endeavor, i think writing css/xhtml will ultimately work out better for me. my design skills are oh so lacking - which is probably why my freelance web design career went nowhere.

the site should be done over the thanksgiving....mmmmmm... thanksgiving, weekend.
